SONG FU: You may be having the kind of day where an internet song-writing competition seems like just the thing to while away those extra minutes between all the various phone calls you've scheduled about scheduling further phone calls about projects about projecting the schedule for future phone calls about scheduled project projections, and what not. Or, you may have a summary judgment brief due tomorrow.
Either way, I hope you are not too busy to troll through the many worthy submissions to the
Song Fu competition over at
Quick Stop Entertainment. In Round One, contestants submitted
remakes compositions about themselves done in the style of their favorite tv theme songs. Seven got through, and the winner of Round Two gets to take on
Jonathan Coulton, or
Paul & Storm (or both, I'm not really sure), who have just completed an exhibition match in which each did a song in the style of the other, with fantastic results.
Round two voting is open through Wednesday.
