FOR THE GOOD OF ALL OF US, EXCEPT THE ONES WHO ARE DEAD: Wabash College is one of many that has a required introductory humanities course, and this year, they're apparently shaking up the required reading, by requiring students to play Portal as a jumping off point for discussions of "what it means to be human and how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our world."

Well, at least they'll learn there is no cake.

They will learn that in their personnel file it says they are an unlikeable loner. Liked by no one. Whose passing shall not be morned. SHALL NOT BE MORNED. That's what it says. Very formal, very official. It also says they're adopted, so that's funny too...

    What a great game.

  4. Hmm. When I was in college, we read The Odyssey to understand what it means to be human, but, you know, good for them. And I get to feel superior, so it's really win-win.

Well, human if that includes 30-minute or less guarantee on divine intervention, yes.

They will learn compassion, sacrifice, and self-preservation in one fell swoop from their time with the Companion Cube.  SIGH!

Oh man, I remember my first time with the Companion Cube.  That's cold, GLADOS.  Just cold.

Ugh, double fail. Mourned would be the correct spelling. And fail on the 2 days it took me to notice.

    FOR SHAME.
