GREETINGS FROM ASBURY SHARK: From the network that brought you
Sharktopus and
Mansquito -- and the writing team that brought you, um, the tv holiday classics
The Dog That Saved Christmas,
The Dog That Saved Christmas Vacation, and
The Dog That Saved Halloween --
comes the 2012 sure-to-be-tweeted Syfy telemovie Jersey Shore Shark Attack.
Starring Paul Sorvino, Tony Sirico, Jack Scalia, Joey Fatone, Vinny from Jersey Shore, and HITG! superstar William Atherton.
I'm not ashamed to say I'll watch that.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait! I've never watched a Syfy movie before, but this will be worth the wait. I can tell.
ReplyDeleteI give this movie one star for each star that gets eaten.
ReplyDeleteThe Dogracuda that Attacked Christmas and Also Saved It but Bloodily and Heartwarmingly.
ReplyDeleteThere's at most one star in the movie -- Sorvino. Fatone is on the border.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds awesome. I'm all for shark movies where minor celebrities get eaten.
ReplyDeleteI demand the return of Jerry the Pool Boy!

As I noted on Twitter yesterday, I'm already marking Summer 2012 on my shark movie watching calendar. (I could not be prouder to have been retweeted yesterday by a Syfy account. I'll put that one up with my RT from the director of Swamp Shark during its Syfy premiere. Top of the world, Ma!) Anyhow, I'm currently trying to set an appropriate over-under for how long Atherton's character makes it before being eaten.
ReplyDeleteSo, will this be a Cover It Live event, or just a massive ALOTT5MA live-tweet?
Good question. Can the sharks walk on land?
ReplyDeleteDid you know that there is science to back up that plot point?

Fatone reportedly plays himself, so either he's immune from being eaten, or he'll be playing "Joey Fatone" like NPH plays "NPH" in the H&K movies.
ReplyDeleteI saw that video about a week ago and thought it seemed like one of the saddest things ever. He's so tired. He's so, so tired. For the love of God, SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP THE OCTOPUS.
