I CAN FEEL IT BURNING: John Parr has reworked his 1985 hit "St. Elmo's Fire (Man In Motion)" as a tribute to Tim Tebow. The results of "Tim Tebow's Fire" are pretty much what you'd expect.
I just want to credit Matt for what might be a top-10 tag line. And I say that as someone who enjoys the original, at least for cheesy "I'm at the gym getting pumped up to work it" purposes. (As I often say, you can't fairly judge a person based on what he/she listens to at the gym.)
Given the subject matter, I guess redoing "Naughty, Naughty" wouldn't have been as appropriate.

Ears. Burning.
ReplyDeleteIt's Tebow time...
ReplyDeleteMy My my passes hits me so hard
makes me say "oh my Lord"
Thank you you're divine
I've an arm that connects 50% of the time
It feels good when you kneel
White boy from UF gonna squeal
And I'm known as such
And this is a pass, that you can't touch
I told you, wide receiver
you can't touch this
Yeah, that's how we playing and you know
Maybe you can touch this one
It seems an appropriate response.
ReplyDeleteI heard the original on the car radio this weekend, and now I'm not sure which was the less pleasant experience.
ReplyDeleteThe less pleasant experience is Frank Stallone's "Far From Over."
