I agree with the order of the first three. Adele's obviously a hell of a talent, but the songs just don't grab me like they seem to have grabbed the rest of the known universe.
We heard the top N live, the Mumford was not on the on-air countdown, the two Adele songs were 2 and 3, as currently listed. The DJ, who was having a lot of fun and I enjoyed listening to, did replay the #1 song (also as currently listed) immediately after finishing playing the #1 song and talking about the countdown (and it's a commercial-free station, so it was really about a minute later) because he just felt like the top song should get its due. So if you count it that way, perhaps Adele's songs were 3 and 4 ...
I only see one but I still disagree.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they changed it. Maybe the Mumford song was from 2010?
ReplyDeleteCan't eclipse Adele, though.

ReplyDeleteYeah. The Mumford song was listed when I loaded it this morning. Weird.

ReplyDeleteOr go Atlanta's WRAS (88.5) to vote for your favorite album. Adele is not an option. http://www2.gsu.edu/~www885/index.html
ReplyDeleteI can't listen to Pumped Up Kicks after discovering the lyrics. Creeps me out!
