ReplyDeleteVeronica Penny won the Ottawa regional again. Of course, she still has to finish in the top 3 at Canspell to return to the Scripps Bee. Not a bad bet she'll finish in the top 1.
ReplyDeleteThe youngest-ever before Lori Anne, Sriram Hathwar, wasn't so lucky, finishing second in his regional. Sriram first showed up as a 7-year-old second-grader, and still has two years of eligibility left.
