John Williams' score from Star Wars is still the best. I love the little detail (which I saw posted on Twitter, which I didn't notice myself) that the Falcon has a new satellite dish. http://www.hitfix.com/comedy/8-tiny-universe-changes-you-didnt-notice-in-the-star-wars-episode-vii-trailer
I mention to my 75 year old Dad the they were doing a new one, they had the original cast and my Dad, the very model of a crotchety old guy told me it would such. I the. Showed him the teaser and his response;
"That's going to be really good...wait, December 2015? I have to live a whole 'nother year to see it. Bastards!"
That's actually a well-done fan trailer. Here's the real one:

ReplyDeleteDamnit I am going to pay money to see this infernal film
ReplyDeleteThe 10-y.o.: "That actually looks good! I didn't think Disney could make a good Star Wars movie!"
ReplyDeleteMe: [Mouth agape, ready to hand my money directly to J.J. Abrams] Um, I think it looks really really good.
Yes!
ReplyDeleteMy reaction: Chills when the music kicked in and the Millenium Falcon takes off.
11-yr-old-son: Wow, the graphics look a lot better in this one.
