Cue the annual crowing from my school about how we're Top 20, hoping that everyone forgets that it doesn't matter if you're not T14. Pay no attention to the meltdown behind the curtain!
Hadn't Sunstein left as of last year? Guess this is what having your "lecturer (on leave)" elected POTUS does for your ranking. (And I contemplated a preemptive post this morning.)
Would Yale have to burn to the ground to not be ranked at #1? My ed school also took an unfortunate plunge in the rankings. But we are ed schools and not supposed to care.
They lose Epstein and Sunstein and move up? U.S. News sure am real smart.

ReplyDeleteDamn. I might have to get my JD after my PhD just to keep up with you all. I'll be soliciting recommendations, naturally.

ReplyDeleteYale would merely need to pitch a tent and host a class called "Law & Philosphy in the Post-Burning-Down era" and it would maintain that #1 ranking.
ReplyDeleteWe're the Avis of law schools. But lately, we do try harder (not so much in my era).
ReplyDeleteFirst Duke basketball, now Yale law. Why haters gotta hate?
