BIRDS SMASH: Yes, there will be an
Angry Birds animated series, which will,
according to the game producer, explore the "deeper thoughts, deeper feelings of the characters, such as, why are they always angry?" I just want to know what use the pigs have for the eggs.
"What use does bacon have for eggs," you ask?

ReplyDeleteWhen the one blue bird splits into three, does each develop a separate consciousness?
ReplyDeleteThe game story of Angry Birds always kind of upset me - the pigs have stolen the birds' eggs (so, basically, their UNBORN CHILDREN) and the birds' plan to save said unborn kids is to...kamikaze themselves time and time again? Great, you got the eggs back from the pigs, but WHO IS GOING TO RAISE THESE KIDS NOW?
ReplyDeleteYes, I admit I may be overthinking this.
I'm surprised there isn't already an animated series. There are already physical games, movie tie-ins, plush toys, Hallmark cards, and all of the other trappings of rampant success. My guess is that this animated series is on the same level as the Super Mario series, which is to say: cheaply produced but profitable trash.
ReplyDeleteGreen eggs and ham? Bacon and eggs? Interspecies matrimony?
ReplyDeleteI'll go one further: before they split into three, are all three consciousnesses in one bird, vying for control?
