YOU MIGHT VERY WELL THINK THAT.  I COULDN'T POSSIBLY COMMENT:  Netflix's House of Cards returns tonight for its second (and last) season.  While I'm still a great fan of the BBC original with Ian Richardson -- and I think the structure of British Parliament makes these sorts of shenanigans a bit less implausible -- this has been a great deal of fun.

    I was very reluctant to watch this because of my fondness for the original -- this isn't as good, but it's good television.
