THE OTHER ONE WAS DRAFTED INTO MILITARY SERVICE: President Bush has pardoned Marshmallow, the National Thanksgiving Turkey. On the other hand, Governor Tom Vilsack of Iowa is burnishing his "tough on turkey" credentials for a possible run for Macy's Grand Marshal in 2006 by refusing to pardon the Iowa turkey. No word from the Butterball Hotline on the subject.
