50 best duets ever - Telegraph
I'M GOING TO BEAT OFF...ALL MY DEMONS: The Telegraph from the other side of the pond makes its picks for the 50 Greatest Duets of all time, and while Dewey Cox's seminal take on the subject failed to make the cut (as an aside, much like Anchorman, Dewey Cox seems to get better on repeat viewings), give the Telly credit for some inspired picks, including King Louis and Baloo the Bear (otherwise known as Louis Prima and Phil Harris) combining on "Wanna Be Like You," Shane MacGowan and Kristy MacColl teaming for the greatest holiday song ever in "Fairytale of New York," Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush's mix-tape staple "Don't Give Up," and Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra's otherworldy old west meets psychedia "Some Velvet Morning," which occuppies the top spot.
