YOUR BOY:  After nearly 32 years and covering ten Olympic Games, every Super Bowl since 1987, nearly every Final Four since 1982 and every NBA Finals since 1987, Michael Wilbon is leaving the Washington Post to concentrate on his television career.

Wilbon, Kornheiser, Howard Kurtz, Tom Shales ... will the last person left at that test prep company's newsletter please remember to turn off the lights?

  1. If you haven't read "Morning Miracle" by Dave Kindred, a sort of profile of the paper and its recent history, it's worth checking out. It's a fluffy read, but interesting.

Thought this was saying he was retiring from PTI.  That is going to be a really sad day.

Wow. I grew up reading Mike and Tony's dueling columns. I have since transitioned to PTI (and Tony's most excellent radio show), but this still feels like the end of an era.

Lordy, Wilbon is bad. He and Stuart Scott are made for each other. Oblivious, cliched, ugh...
