My ten year old daughter pointed him out on a ten year old rerun of "The Amanda Show" yesterday. She had only seen his Community episode. One imdb search later (listed under The Amanda Show, but oddly enough not in his credits), I realized my daughter was correct AND that he was Colby Smulders' fiancee/ baby daddy.
I want to like Taran Killam and do not dislike him. Despite being a Scrubs completist (who loved the last season of Scrubs, by the way -- Eliza Coupe, Mark Moseley, and Dave Franco make a hell of a core cast to build around) and someone who usually gets through most of SNL on DVR by Monday night, I have yet to see Killam be actually funny, as opposed to just broad.
I liked Taran on Scrubs and I enjoyed him on Community last week. They need to use him more on SNL.
