POMP, CIRCUMSTANCE: With much happiness, plus an ample dose of "wow, time flies," I am pleased to announce that ALOTT5MA Middle Junior Correspondent
Maddy, who first made her presence known to us
as a high school junior in January 2009, and for whom we've had
lots and lots of advice and
questions regarding her mindset over the years, today has graduated from Scripps College. Huzzah!
Congratulations, Maddy! May life give your a pre-Scripps-ion of happiness!
ReplyDelete/Hooray for Dad jokes!
Congrats Maddy! (Am I the only one of us who has had the privilege of meeting Maddy in person?)

ReplyDeleteSunrise, Sunset, Sunrise, Sunset, Swiftly go the. . . from the day we arrive on the planet and blinking step into the sun . . . It's a circle, a circle of life.

ReplyDeleteHey! I'm a graduate of Pitzer, next door!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Maddy!
We'll let Maddy speak for herself, since I don't want to violate her privacy, but I will say that she has a post-college job (related to her passion, no less!) in the Bay Area. Huzzah!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS! That's really exciting. Best wishes on your next endeavor!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! You all are awesome! Sorry for the delay in response - I've been packing/flying home. As Matt mentioned, I'm starting a disability advocacy job in the Bay Area later this summer, which I am really, really excited about. And I'm with you all - I don't know where the time went!
ReplyDeleteYes, you are indeed the only Thing Thrower I've had the pleasure of meeting in person!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Maddy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, sounds fantastic!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Maddy, on your latest vita nova from a fellow alumna!
