Sunset Song, Lewis Grassic Gibbon's 1932 book that I'm guessing you've never heard of either, beat out
Trainspotting (No. 3),
1984 (No. 6), and some kids' book about a wizard or something who goes to school and has all sorts of adventures that I seem to think they made a movie out of with that bad guy from the first
Die Hard in it (No. 5).
