YOU WON'T FIND TOTO HERE: Is Broadway ready for a show that features the "mind-blowing, face-melting hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and many more?" We'll find out tonight when Rock of Ages (starring Constantine Maroulis and Amy Spanger) starts previews. (The song list is here.) Of more interest is that in an effort to appeal to a non-traditional audience, the show's cut prices, with standard orchestra seats capped at $99, when most shows are $110-120, adopted a non-traditional performance schedule (no Wednesday matinees and dark on Wednesdays after opening), and will offer drink service during the show to orchestra ticket holders.
