ALSO DENIED -- THE WOMAN IN THE ZEVON SONG WITH THE "IVY LEAGUE VOODOO": The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation has announced its 2009 recipients of "genius" grants, as always giving the Times the first chance to interview the winners. And as always, with Wile Coyote denied (he's dropping the middle initial in the belief it'll enhance his chances), I rely on you to tell me who the heck these people are, and to suggest others who should be considered for this support.
