I am extra tired this morning from staying up late to watch the show...as always, the Boss did not disappoint!

  2. Also, apparently, Craig Ferguson did an all Doctor Who episode, with guests Matt Smith and a Dalek, which certainly has potential, though I'm not sure how good an interview with a Dalek can be--every answer is "Ex-TER-min-ATE!," right?

  3. I loved how they played the theme of "Who's The Boss?'' after Fallon introduced Springsteen.

I watched the clip from the other night, with Ferguson introducing a Dalek; Christina and I have been watching Doctor Who a lot lately, so that gave us a huge laugh.

You and me both, Stacie.  A great show, with Bruce bringing the funny, terrific performances, and an engaging conversation notwithstanding Fallon's clear fanboy bias (and who am I to judge?), particularly once Steve came out to join the fun and offer his own perspective.

Yeah, I commend to you Questlove's Twitter feed from last night, starting at the 12:40 AM entry and scrolling up.  To fill in some of the details, in the interview segment, Jimmy and Bruce were looking at the box set's notebook packaging, and talking about a list of potential cover songs Bruce had at one point written down.  Bruce gave a shout out to one obscure instrumental called "The Wiggle Wobble," by Les Cooper, and basically said the Roots could probably knock it out of the park.  By the time the next ad break came up, The Roots had found the song on the internet, and LEARNED IT AND PLAYED THE SEGMENT OUT WITH IT, much to the obvious joy of Bruce, who we could see saying to Jimmy something like "That's the Wiggle Wobble!"
