I heard the original on the car radio this weekend, and now I'm not sure which was the less pleasant experience.

I just want to credit Matt for what might be a top-10 tag line. And I say that as someone who enjoys the original, at least for cheesy "I'm at the gym getting pumped up to work it" purposes. (As I often say, you can't fairly judge a person based on what he/she listens to at the gym.)
