M-I-C K-E-Y M-O-N-E-Y: It would be less distracting to me -- as a viewer -- if ABC would merely require that all actors in all ABC programs wear Mickey Mouse ears and not otherwise discuss Disneyland than would the current regime where characters within the shows talk about or attend Disney properties as if they were disinterested.

  1. Well, they got mouse ears on Jerry Rice and Len Goodman last night on Dancing with the Stars...

Starting with Roseanne, I think every ABC sitcom has been required to do a Disneyland or Disneyworld episode.

  5. I really loved the "Step by Step" one growing up, where Cousin Cody attempts to set the record for riding every ride in all the parks, only he chooses to portray Indiana Jones in the stage show so some kids aren't disappointed and gets behind the pace.

I for one found the Grey's Anatomy elevator-ride tie-in at WDW fairly dull.

  7. Paramount was a big shareholder of King's Island, where Mike Brady lost his architecture plans.

But how cute were Gloria's shoes last night on Modern Family?

I just felt sorry for the people whose trips to Disneyland were derailed by the fuss of filming in the park!

If my kids were able to catch a glimpse of the cast of Modern Family while on their Disney vacation...well, let's just say it would have impressed them much more than the pin collecting. By the way...Cam's collection of pins around his neck were a great prop. Don't mind me...we love us some Modern Family.

But, Gretchen, to your point...I was definitely thinking about the logistics of filming at Disneyland in the middle of the day--that must have been incredibly disruptive.
