THE WONDERFUL BOYS. George learns what would've happened had he not lost the manuscript of his comeback novel, the one with the genealogies of everyone's horses.
And this is where I plug the WEIRD, fascinating novel "Suspects" by David Thomson, which builds a huge interweaving narrative using pretty much every Hollywood movie from 1930-1980 and centered around the Baileys. Not going to spoil anything if you want to read it but boy does it get odd and dark.
TO THE WONDERFUL LIFE. There really isn't a plot to speak of, the film is more focused on the emotions created by George's presence/absence from the Bailey family.
THE WONDERFUL YEARS. Through voiceovers, an adult George Bailey fondly remembers his happy life as a tween growing up in the suburbs, and the girl he loved.
A FISH CALLED WONDER. George and friends regroup to rob Potter's bank, but things go all wrong when an old woman gets a glimpse and the band of thieves begin to turn on one another.
