IT'S SO NICE TO SEE YOU BACK WHERE YOU BELONG: Bette Midler will star in a Hello, Dolly! revival next season on Broadway.  Bette already has Grammy and Emmy, and a 1976 special/non-competitive Tony for "adding lustre to the Broadway season."  No Oscar, despite 2 nominations (The Rose and For The Boys).  It's her first time in a musical (rather than a revue/concert or straight play) on Broadway since 1967, when she was a replacement as Tzeitel in the original production of Fiddler.

IT IS NOT "ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST":  Trivia - name the Oscar-winning film whose full title is spoken the most times within the film.

DEMAND SATISFACTION:  Longtime ALOTT5MA Fave Jay Rayner (remember when that was A Thing?) lists his 12 Dining Commandments, "atrocities" he hopes to see gone from restaurants in 2016. This one has come up regularly in Philadelphia:

All restaurants must install big enough tables to accommodate their small-plate-sharing menus. The small plates menu was your idea, not mine. Most tables can’t manage more than four dishes, and you want us to order seven.

YOU'RE NO KELLY BISHOP:  That's my response to today's announcement that Debra Messing will play Marjorie Houseman in ABC's upcoming Dirty Dancing remake.  Still no Johnny Castle casting.
