Sarah Alexander, both likeable, funny performers, flail valiantly against scripts that are painfully unfunny. Considering that creator
Matt Tarses has frequently written extraordinarily funny and insightful stuff (he co-wrote "The
Six Southern Gentlemen of Tennessee," for cryin' out loud), it's particularly painful to watch.
