A 100% CHANCE OF RIGHTEOUSLY INDIGNANT SPEECHES: Aaron Sorkin's new pilot has apparently lost its title, but has
gotten the formal pickup from HBO. No timing yet, as HBO has a bunch of stuff in the pipeline which might seem a fit, including the Dustin Hoffman/Nick Nolte horse racing drama
Luck (slated for January 2012), Julia Louis-Dreyfus' political comedy
Veep, and a new season of
Treme.
Good cast, but so did Studio 60.
ReplyDeleteThis time, maybe there'll actually be a scene which involves one of the characters STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF AFGHANISTAN!
ReplyDeleteFUCK!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about his involvement. Will movies keep him away more? Will he not write every script? Will that be a good thing, maybe?
ReplyDeleteJulia Louis-Dreyfus' political comedy
ReplyDeleteThat's right up there with "Yahoo Serious Festival."
Hmm. Do I subscribe to HBO again or just cross my fingers that this new show makes it to Netflix? Decisions, decisions.
