I AM YOUR SINGING (GUNSHOT): Buzzfeed has a surprisingly long history of the making of Clue: The Movie, including that Tom Stoppard, Anthony Perkins, and Stephen Sondheim allegedly were considered to script, that they really wanted Rowan Atkinson to play Wadsworth, and what's allegedly the only piece of improv in the film.

Wow, a Last of Sheila connection? Makes perfect sense.

My wife and I read this great article this morning, and TOM STOPPARD! Seriously, Tom Stoppard tried to write Clue! I want to read that so so badly.

  3. This is fantastic. I love Clue - I was introduced to it through MANY viewings my freshman year of college, and the lines have stuck with me for years. (Especially Madeleine Kahn's brilliant - and I now know, improvised - "flames on the side of my face" speech.) I love Kean and Mull reminiscing about playing pool in the set's billiard room while Tim Curry glared at them as he tried to remember all of his lines.
