I expect Dreamworks' creative heavy-hitters all worked on How To Train Your Dragon 2, which is the summer release. It strikes me that Dreamworks is trying to do too much with 2-3 movies a year plus TV series. Disney/Pixar does 3 most years, but one is typically a cheapie (Planes this year), and is a much bigger operation.
