STEEL CURTAIN OF LITIGATION:  A Pittsburgh Steelers fan is seeking an injunction against the NFL conducting further playoff games due to a missed call in the Chiefs/Chargers game, claiming that the missed call led to the Steelers' elimination from the playoffs, and that the Steelers should be admitted to the playoffs.

My mind finished a the sentence "Andy Reid . . . was unable to challenge the call" with the phrase "because he had previously challenged the spot of the ball and the ruling of an incomplete pass that would not have actually given his team a first down, both challenges unsuccessful."

  4. In the NFL, all potential turnovers are subject to review.

  5. I'll say this: you've got a hell of a second string. I can't believe how close they came to getting us into the playoffs!

Eagles fan. I was neutral on the Chiefs-Chargers game. I picked the Charges to make the playoffs going into week 17, but I like Pittsburgh the city more than San Diego the city (weather aside). Like Philip Rivers' bolo ties; don't like Philip Rivers. Don't like Roethlisberger either.

  7. Neither do I, I've wanted him fired since the motorcycle accident.

  8. Having visited Pittsburgh during football season, I am completely unsurprised that a Steelers fan would come up with that.
