I met the host, Dave Ruprecht once. My father-in-law is a member of the Bohemian Grove* and I went with him to some event at the Bohemian Club in SF and, as they often do in their shows, they often have a mix of professionals and members in various stage performances.
Well, one night they were doing a "Salute to Stan Frieberg" with Dave Ruprecht taking much of the laboring work as many of the main characters in the bit. He was terrific. And I chatted with him after the show. An awesomely nice guy.
* Please note that if the Bohemian Grove is a source to infinite contacts and infinite riches, I have yet to enjoy any of them, and my father-in-law was previously its CFO.
I'd love to hear from someone who was on Shop Til You Drop next...I remember watching those shows back to back after school/before gymnastics practice...
