As awesome as Abed as Draper was- no one tops John Hamm and the real Don Draper.

It's definitely Draper over TMYMCSL, but TMYMCSL over Hamm over Abed-as-Draper.

I've somehow managed to miss Community completely until tonight...and that scene sold me.

To be honest, Don Draper is largely a function of his era. Granted that Don Draper is still the manliest man of his era, he's still the manliest man in a manly era. TMYMCSL, however, is a Man in an era of boys. You can never hope to be that man. You can,. at best, hope to smell like him. Don Draper is clearly impersonate-able, his whole persona and not just his aroma, which I imagine to mostly be "cigarettes and man-musk."

Simply put, if the best way to compare baseball players is VORP - Value over Replacement Player -- the best way to compare an icon's manliness is VORM -- Value Over Replacement Man. In that case, clearly TMYMCSM has a higher VORM than Don Draper.

Finn, it's well worth your time. I just watched the little mini-marathon they did, and this is going to be one of those shows that I watch over and over again.

FWIW, Better Off Ted is also holding up well on multiple viewings. Sigh.

Better Off Ted is one of those shows where you don't see half the gags until the second time through. The Dalek in the Veridian sub-basement? Rose goes to Eugene Debs Elementary School? It is so full of awesome.
