I WAKE UP EVERY MORNING IN A BED THAT’S TOO SMALL, DRIVE MY DAUGHTER TO A SCHOOL THAT’S TOO EXPENSIVE, AND THEN I GO TO WORK TO A JOB FOR WHICH I GET PAID TOO LITTLE, BUT ON PRETZEL DAY ... WELL, I LIKE PRETZEL DAY: According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, today is National Pretzel Day.

[If you're around town, Philly Pretzel Factory are giving away free pretzels all day.]

  2. In 2008 they overlapped as well, and earlier in the holiday.  They gave out vouchers to Hebrews.

Thanks for the tip. There's one in Red Lion, PA that I've never been to, but we're headed that way this morning. We'll definitely be stopping in since pretzels are one of the few snacks my picky eater likes.

Ok, the pretzel twist "dance" that's featured in the linked article just slayed me.

  6. Pretzel Day trivia:  Can anyone name all of the toppings that Michael got on his pretzel?  (For the record, I cannot.)

  7. I am positive you have used the Stanley quote for this occasion in at least one other year.  And that's totally, totally fine with me.

Ok, so they get a pass this time. But the next time I shall...grumble ineffectually and accept my voucher.

If I had received such a voucher, I wonder, would it technically belong to the Goy who currently owns my chumetz, or or would ownership only transfer upon redeeming the voucher and taking posession of the the actual pretzel?
