THIS IS OCEAN'S 11 AFTER OCEAN'S 11 HAS SUFFERED SEVERAL CONCUSSIONS:  Will Leitch did not care for Tower Heist.

Is Casey Affleck allowed to play similar role in one movie and in a parody of that movie?  That seems wrong.

  2. Leitch hated it, but it's presently 75% at Rotten Tomatoes, and David Edelstein of New York (who's normally pretty good) has been generally positive, and this seems like the sort of thing Ratner might actually make work.

I love that one of the comments claimed Leitch didn't like it because he's a bitter failed actor.

  4. I will still see this.  I've been excited about it for months, for no real reason.

  5. I still say it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. There are some genuine laughs, even if some of the jokes are pretty limp, and the characters aren't thought through at all. In particular, I thought Eddie Murphy was better than this, and I kinda hate that guy. But he's still funny, and works well with the group.

from that preview -- if Alan Alda robbed the employees of the condo, why would he still live / keep his money there?  is there some sort of house arrest type business?  if that's so, then why steal it - just tell a federal marshall where you think he's hiding the money in the wall safe or antique chest with false bottom or wherever it is.  unless, however, the protagonist want all $25 m for themselves, in which case, they're not terribly sympathetic.
