We need to bring back the Money Maze! A fine way to learn your place values.

Oh. My. God. That "Trashed" Chris Hardwick clip is like gold for about a thousand reasons. Denim vest? Check. Weird multi-colored sweater? Check. 1994 floppy hair? Check. Drinking-era Hardwick? Check.

And wait, Brian Posehn on guitar!

Also, the point about choosing your own category was not unprecedented. The $128,000 Question in the late 1970s had a World War I expert battling a Shaekspeare expert for several weeks, as I recall.

  6. At least in theory, 64/128K Question contestants chose from a list of categories on a board and then were stuck with that category for their run of the show. (Allegedly, people were allowed to say "here's my category," and it was guaranteed to be on the board.)

Right - which is how Dr. Joyce Brothers was able to cram for boxing on $64KQ.
