THERE'S NO NEED TO FEAR: Regular readers of the
Times are no doubt familiar with the "Quotation of the Day" feature next to the paper's index on Page 2, in which a single quote from that day's paper is highlighted. Today, for instance,
the quote is: "If there's an asset up for sale anywhere in the world, people are looking to China."

Times is why the following gem from the "Arts, Briefly" column didn't merit today's honors
"Anything where you have a dog in that superhero context, that's appealing on a global basis."
