NO RECORD FOR "PURPLE MONKEY DISHWASHER:" OK, I've got a new favorite feature at Amazon.com. I speak of the new frontier of SIPs-statistically improbable phrases. As you may know, Amazon has the text of a lot of books scanned and semi-searchable. Based on this and comparison to the universe, they've determined what phrases in a book are unusual or bizarre. So what bestseller features the phrase "corporal mortification?" "licorice laces?" "positive farmer?" "madhouse attendants?" Find your own oddities.
