IN TWO ACTS: Public Radio humor is much around us right now. Below the fold, not from WBEZ in Chicago is audio of The Ira Glass Sex Tape, followed by the Parks & Rec opening bit from last week:
Loved the second thing, actually just sent it to a friend in public radio. Just kind of spot-on in an almost loving way. The first was cute but ended up as a little bit of a shaggy dog, and how can you not try to imitate Sarah Vowell in a TAL takedown?
I should also note that the "Pawnee: The Greatest Town In America" book is an essential purchase for all Parks and Rec fans. Funny, funny stuff.

ReplyDeleteWhat is the music at the tail end of the NPR piece? It's making me crazy.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree. And don't forget to read the footnotes.
