SADLY, BILLY CRYSTAL WILL STILL GET TO SING: Apparently, there will be no performances of the two nominated songs at the Oscars this year.

More time for montages!  And no wasting time on lifetime Oscars as well!  Why should we honor people who contributed mightily to movie history like Roger Corman where the public should see them?

Eh, given the nominees, it matters not

  3. From my perspective, a muppety performance was going to be the best thing about the Oscars.  Sigh.

That is totally insane.  WE WANT MUPPETS! (And, re: title, I actually love when Billy Crystal sings that opening medly...am I alone in that?)

I was...sniff...really ...sniff...looking forward to Man or Muppet. Curse you, Brian Grazer.

  7. I'm blaming certain powerful anti-Muppist forces in the media.

No - I always enjoy those goofy parody song things he does. Goold old-fashioned fun, and better than yet another snarky monologue full of one-liners. (Yes, I know, he'll do that too.)
