OY VEY, DID WE FORGET ABOUT THE ALOTT5MA JUDAICA MASHUP DESK FOR ALL OF 5773?  Take your pick: a Rosh Hashanah-themed "Get Lucky" (with some serious teruah action), or "Adon Olam," "Cups"-style.

Oh! And I forgot to say that my favorite part about the Get Lucky video is the yarmulkes flying off of heads.

Same source: "Pesach Shop". Damn, that's a real nice seder plate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlMlxy_G0_A&feature=c4-overview&list=UUekGB6Wu_kiDx81RerAiqdQ

My kids, surprising no one, have been singing the Adon Olam one for days. I lead services at my synagogue for the high holidays and am strongly considering getting a gaggle of pre-teen girls to accompany me on plastic cups.

  6. A gaggle is the official term for a mass of preteen girls, right? (E.g.,"I was surrounded by a gaggle of preteens when I was going to another movie next door to the One Direction concert film.")

Turning "Bye Bye Bye" into "Matzah Brie" made my day.

You'll call out the evening news for a bad "Blurred Lines" parody, but it's all love for a BBYO-talent-show-quality "Get Lucky"? Hypocrite. I hate that YouTube has put parody videos into a wide-distribution channel. Parodies are most amusing for the people who make them, second-most amusing for the friends of the people who make them, and not very relevant for just about anybody else (and I say that as someone who has made parodies before). It's like watching other people's home movies.

Why do you hate Rosh Hashanah?
