HE CAME OVER THE TOP HOLDING A SAN FRANCISCO BUSBOY: Check out the liveblogging of the World Series of Poker at Tao of Poker, written by Pauly from Tao of Pauly. Apparently this year there were over 5,600 entrants willing to make the $10,000 buy-in, meaning that there will be a ridonkulous $56 million in poker chips at the final table. I understand why it has to be this way, but I always feel a little cheated that the winner doesn't take them all. (And we still can't get more than a cable movie about Stu Ungar?) As of the close of business yesterday, Tiffany Williamson was at almost $2M in chips -- seventh overall -- giving her a great war chest for a run at the final table, where no woman has ever made it. By mid-afternoon, she was holding steady at $2.1M, probably dropping a few slots but still in great shape.
