  2. Has anyone listened to the audiobook?  It is hard to imagine how that works.

This is awesome. But there's one thing this does take away from the experience--the pages turn by themsevles! So unless you click quick, you lose the satisfaction of openly disobeying him and thwarting his efforts to keep the pages from turning.

The illustrator passed away just a couple weeks ago.

  4. Still my favorite chldren's book ever.  Went through a period last year where I read it to my 3 year old almost every day for about 3 months....never got tired of it.

  6. Too damn awesome!  The boyfriend wants to make that last shot into his screen background.

Many is the small child to whom I have gifted The Monster at the End of This Book.

So Katy Perry is too sexy but Grover in a towel spoofing the very sexy Isaiah Mustafa in a towel is fine?  I'm confused about Sesame Street's standards (see also: True Blood parody that no one got mad over).
