Kudos to the writers to acknowledge the "kinda" cases like Star Trek (a film I greatly admire for the filmmakers willingness to stick with completely reboooting the timeline and not hitting the reset button back to standard Star Trek continuity).

  2. Or Amidala dying immediately after childbirth in Revenge of the Sith, when Leia said in Return of the Jedi that she had memories of her mother.

As far as I'm concerned, Adam, everything George Lucas did after 1989 doesn't count. That leaves us with American Graffiti, Star Wars (the original trilogy), and Indiana Jones. Works for me.

  4. I assumed that Leia's memories were of her adoptive mother, not Amidala.
