THAT is hysterical. We have taken part in this long-standing Jewish tradition many times, but tonight we are opting for another local favorite, which, suprisingly, is open until 9:30 (Ottamanelli's). My husband is in the mood for a burger; no dumplings for us. Happy holidays one and all!

P.S. Will the movie theaters follow suit and thank us for our support on Christmas Day?? I'm off to see The Artist tomorrow. Me, my stepmom, and the Hasidim.

  2. Has Snopes not refuted this yet? It's a 2010 cartoon by David Mamet. http://www.tabletmag.com/scroll/54112/a-very-special-message/

  3. I just partook in this tradition for the first time in more than 20 years.  Fun (and Peking Duck) was had by all.
