    Enlightening, even for one who lived through it (purely as a watcher).  I'll never again be able to watch Mad About You (or anything with Helen Hunt) without thinking, "That's My Shiksa!"  The Masked Scheduler was probably right, though, when he pointed out (in his comments section) that networks are notoriously skittish about mentioning even the most obvious religious/cultural disparities -- call it the "Bridget Loves Bernie" curse.  Perhaps MS can confirm that this sensitivity extended even to the Jason Alexander character on Seinfeld: "Costanza"?  Sure, his family were descended from the Italian Jews of Ancona.  Of course...
