NICK OFFERMAN/DUKE SILVER, IRA GLASS/PHILIP GLASS, OR PRINCE/PRINCE: Throughout the season, the producers of SNL will be soliciting host/musical guest suggestions via the Internet. (Most likely outcome: Clint Eastwood/PSY, the latter having even gotten David Gregory rocking Gangnam Style yesterday.)

I'm still not convinced that Karmin isn't some kind of performance art group that trolled SNL.
ReplyDeleteI think Stephen Colbert and Anna Kendrick, neither of whom has hosted before, would do pretty well.
ReplyDeleteI expect we'll get Ben Affleck for Argo, Tom Hanks for Cloud Atlas, and Anne Hathaway for Les Mis, all of whom will be fine.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite possible we'll get Tyler Perry selling Alex Cross, which will not be so good.
Less plausible but interesting--Jessica Chastain selling Zero Dark Thirty, Barbra Streisand selling Guilt Trip, Jennifer Lawrence selling Silver Linings Playbook, Chris Hemsworth or Adrianne Palicki selling Red Dawn, and Jane Levy selling Fun Size.
I have a odd desire now to see John Hawkes host.
