A MESS O'CABBAGE: American Idol is considering bringing in former contestants Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, and Clay Aiken to serve as its new judging panel. Similarly, EW's Dalton Ross suggests a Fans vs. Favorites season, in which six survivors from the audition process might face Carly Smithson, Bo Bice, and Young David Archuleta and his Dead, Dead Eyes?

ReplyDeleteSo basically, if you're wildly successful on American Idol, you can eventually reach the pinnacle of your career... judging American Idol? Seems too recursive. America's Next Top Judge of America's Next Top Judge of ... of America's Next Top Judge. But at the end, little Judge Z (Carrie Underwood?) has VOOM under her hair extensions.

ReplyDeleteI think Kat McPhee should be a judge, in-character as Karen Cartwright. But that would require Karen Cartwright to have a recognizable character.
