ONLY ONE ANSWER ON THE BOARD, HERE'S THE QUESTION: Has Richard Dawson, host of the Family Feud (and The Running Man) and co-star of Hogan's Heroes, passed away at the age of 79? Survey says!
If he was only 79 now, that means he was in his late 40s or early 50s when I watched him on Family Feud. That's crazy (obligatory "I am old now" comment). That was one creeeeepy young/old man and I knew it even at age 7.
I'd forgotten that he was on Hogan's Heroes -- or I never quite recognized him despite having seen the entire run of that show at least twice -- and that he was British.
His performance in Running Man is gold in a pile of s**t, and I saw that as a total child of 80's action movies.

ReplyDeleteOh, uh, RIP.
Show me premorse!
ReplyDeleteI thought he passed away ages ago. I also thought he was a lot older than 79.
ReplyDeleteHe must hold the record for most kisses on daytime television!
ReplyDeleteI thought that too. This must be a different Richard Dawson they're talking about.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've got a serious case of premorse on this one.
ReplyDeleteAlso, his work as a panelist on Match Game.
