- Two: are they adding a Lost-themed section to Walt Disney World? (We also discussed the leaked Steve Zaillian script for Moneyball with Bill James as The Great Gazoo, but that script's no longer online.)

So, looking through those threads again, I wonder--and not for the first time--what happened to Finch? Is he still here but change his name?
ReplyDeleteIn that spirit, I wonder what happened to Ticky and Bob E. . . .
ReplyDeleteFinch is still here, under a different name. Bob stopped writing for the blog.
ReplyDeleteI still heart That Thing You Do. (And I wish I had more free time to post.)
ReplyDeleteStill love the movie, still bang out the drum part (mostly on my knee or my computer) whenever it pops in my head, still love the the Spartacus line/scene (even if not to the extent I did then). On an aside (in an aside?), I just figured out I've been reading this blog for seven years now, which kinda makes me feel old, but thanks for having it around all this time.
ReplyDeleteAnd France was eliminated one year ago today, after they cheated to get into the World Cup and took Irelands spot!
ReplyDeleteI changed the handle shortly after the first "who are you?" post, to match up with my blog (which is now working on its eighth consecutive content-free month).
ReplyDeleteAlso, this comment made my day.
I thought I remembered you saying you were going to change your name but I never registered what you'd changed it to. I'm pleased to know you've been here all along.
ReplyDeleteLordy, have I been commenting here a long time.
ReplyDeleteI feel like we should cathc up with the commenters too - Jordan, have you seen Eddie and the Cruisers yet?
Um...still no. Although I do mean to. Any movie built around a song I like sounds like it's definitely worth my time. It's probably about time I finally get around to getting Netflix.
ReplyDeleteWhat I said five years ago still stands. It's a good movie. Actually, a very good movie. Just don't watch the sequel.
