I still hold that book along with Slaughterhouse-Five and The Things They Carried as the finest examples of American postmodern metafiction.

  3. That was wonderful. No children's book is greater than The Monster at the End of This book. It is unquestionably my most ready, due mainly to the 50 nights in a row I read it to my 4 year old daughter. 50 nights of "Don't turn the page!" joy.
