AND REASON AND FREEDOM IS A WASTE: Following up on
my alleged highway hijinks, I was in traffic court this morning. The state police officer in attendance called me to the front, asked if I was willing to plead guilty and accept a penalty of a slightly lesser fine and no points on my record. While recognizing the injustice of it all, in the interests of finality (and the points) I accepted the offer and have taken responsibility for my, um, actions. (But seriously: you can't go 75 mph on I-95 in Philadelphia anymore? For reals?)
