Someone linked to his The Daily Show interview the other day; man, that guy has charisma. I pretty much love him unabashedly, though my strong hatred of the Lakers should indicate the opposite.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, and shows a level of self-awareness that I don't recall being evident in reported statements by Mr. O'Neal as a younger man.

ReplyDeleteI was also rather fond of the Daily Show segment, especially the part where Jon Stewart asked Shaq when Jon had to tell his son that he was Jewish and therefore would never be a professional basketball player, and Shaq said, "when you get home, tell him Uncle Shaq says 'baruch hashem.'"
